Continue to Ildırı, a quiet seaside village located 12 miles northeast of Çeşme. Excavations reveal settlement since the early Bronze Age, and the area has been declared a National Heritage Site. Walk among the ancient city walls and admire Hellenistic floor mosaics, still visible in one of the preserved buildings.

Head to Dalyan, a charming fishing village, for a delicious lunch of Turkish specialties and fresh seafood, served with coastal views.

Conclude your journey at Çeşme Castle, the focal point of the town. This imposing fortress, with its six towers and surrounding moat, is guarded by a statue of Cezayirli Gazi Hasan Pasha, a naval commander from the Battle of Çeşme—depicted caressing his famous pet lion and facing the Town Square.
