Your first stop is the Cathedral of St. Anastasia, the finest example of Romanesque architecture in Zadar, featuring a striking western façade dating back to 1324. Continue to the Church of St. Donatus, a circular 9th-century structure built atop Roman foundations. It is considered the most important pre-Romanesque church in the eastern Adriatic.
