Your adventure begins with a panoramic drive through a chain of picturesque rural villages, leading to Kukurini, a quiet town nestled in the heart of Istria. Here, you’ll be welcomed by the Bacac family, whose winery has become a local treasure. After a brief tour of the production area, the owner personally invites you to sample three varietals from their broad selection — each paired with homemade bread and cheese that reflect the region’s rustic charm.

After bidding Kukurini farewell, a short drive through the countryside brings you to Vodnjan, home to the Babos family wine cellar. As one of Croatia’s newer producers, the Babos family brings a fresh perspective to traditional winemaking. You’ll be invited to relax and enjoy a tasting of their favorite wines, accompanied by a generous spread of smoked ham, cheese, olives, and artisan breads.

This tour offers more than just wine — it’s a chance to connect with local families, savor authentic flavors, and experience the soul of Istria through its most beloved craft.
