Sibenik Wine & Vineyard Experience
Discover the rich viticultural heritage of the Šibenik region with visits to two distinctive wineries, each offering a unique expression of Croatian winemaking.
Begin with a scenic drive to Testament Winery, whose vineyards were planted in 2007 on the hills above Morinje Bay. Despite its youth, Testament has earned acclaim at the Decanter World Wine Awards, becoming one of Croatia’s most awarded wineries. The estate spans 50 hectares of vineyards and 25 hectares of olive groves, cultivating exclusively indigenous varieties with 100% organic production. The Babić grape, native to Šibenik, is the winery’s signature focus. Enjoy a guided tasting of Testament wines paired with authentic local snacks in the heart of the vineyard.
Continue to Baraka Winery, a family-owned boutique estate on the scenic Srima Peninsula, near Šibenik and Vodice. Surrounded by the Krka River estuary, the Adriatic Sea, and the St. Anthony Channel, the region is famed for its 1,000 km of hand-built stone drywalls. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a tasting in front of the vineyard, followed by a short tour of the production facility and cellar. The experience concludes with an al fresco tasting of two additional wines, premium extra virgin olive oil, local artisanal cheese, and fresh bread or grissini.
