Trip Info

Picturesque Cefalù

Visit Cefalù, a picturesque fishing village where time seems to have stood still, preserving its authentic Sicilian character and the atmosphere of a traditional seaside port. Over the centuries, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, and Normans have all left their mark on this charming town.

Travel through Palermo and along the scenic Sicilian countryside before arriving in Cefalù. Once there, visit the magnificent Gothic‑Norman Cathedral, founded in 1131 by the Norman kings and built by Norman architects with Islamic craftsmanship. Continue to the medieval wash house, where you can imagine daily life from centuries past beneath its ancient stone arches.

Afterwards, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace, stroll through the historic center, browse the shops near the harbor, or relax at one of the many restaurants offering fresh seafood.
