Boat Ride in Ortigia

Depart the pier with your guide and enjoy a pleasant walk of approximately 700 metres to the embarkation point, where you will board your reserved boat for a scenic tour around the historic island of Ortigia and Syracuse Bay. From the water, admire many of the city’s most significant ancient monuments and coastal landmarks, including the Umberto I Bridge, the Spanish Walls, the Jewish Quarries, Maniace Castle, the Fountain of Arethusa, and the Cathedral, among others.

A refreshment and swimming stop are included during the cruise. After the boat tour, return to the pier and walk back to the ship.

Important Notes:

• Your guide will meet you at the designated arrival point, either the cruise port or tender drop-off station—depending on your arrival option, holding a personalized sign for easy recognition.
• Access to the boat is via a catwalk, with a walking distance of approximately 700 metres each way from the pier.
• The boat crew and guide can assist guests during boarding and disembarkation.
• Wheelchair access onboard is possible with assistance; guests using a wheelchair must be accompanied by a relative or companion.
• Cancellation Policy Guests cancelling more than 5 days before the tour date will receive a full refund, with payment processing fees deducted. Cancellations made within 5 days of the tour date are non‑refundable.
