Delos: Island of Gods
Step aboard a local ferry and cross the Aegean to Delos, one of the most sacred islands of antiquity and the mythical birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. Uninhabited today, Delos was first settled in the 3rd millennium BC and became a revered religious and commercial center in ancient Greece.
Your guided walking tour reveals the island’s most iconic ruins, including the Sanctuary of Apollo complex, the Terrace of Lions, the Sacred Lake, and the sanctuaries on Mount Cynthus. Explore the theatre district and the commercial harbor, gaining insight into the daily life and spiritual significance of this UNESCO-listed site.
Delos remains one of the most respected sanctuaries of the ancient world, offering a rare glimpse into Greece’s mythological and historical foundations.
