Athens Sightseeing & Lycabettus Views
Your tour begins with a comfortable private vehicle transfer into the heart of Athens, passing key city landmarks along the way. Keep your camera ready as you drive by the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the historic Panathenaic Stadium, the site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Traffic permitting, a photo stop will be included for a closer look at these iconic sites.
Enjoy a panoramic city drive past the Hellenic Parliament, and a trio of Athens’ most important neoclassical buildings — the University of Athens, the National Academy, and the National Library. From a specially selected viewpoint, take in a stunning view of the Acropolis and the Parthenon, seen from below in all their timeless glory.
Next, continue to Lycabettus Hill, the highest point in Athens and arguably the most spectacular vantage point in the city. Hop aboard the Lycabettus funicular, which ascends through a tunnel to bring you near the summit. From the top, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Athens, stretching all the way to the Aegean Sea — with the Acropolis as the dramatic centerpiece.
At the summit, unwind with a complimentary coffee while soaking in the breathtaking scenery.
Your tour concludes with a comfortable return transfer to your preferred location — whether it’s the Piraeus cruise port, your Athens hotel, or Athens International Airport — ensuring a smooth and stress-free end to your day.
