After a short drive, visit the Myndos Gate, a historic site where Alexander the Great famously entered the ancient city of Halicarnassus in 334 BC. This ancient gateway stands as a testament to Bodrum’s rich past.
Continue to the picturesque village of Gümüşlük, a charming seaside retreat protected by strict building codes, ensuring its authentic fishing village character remains untouched. Known for its connection to ancient Myndos, this area is steeped in history. When the tide is low, you can even walk across to a nearby island, adding a unique touch to your experience.
