Begin your journey along Marble Street, once the bustling heart of Roman Ephesus. Your guide will bring the city’s rich past to life as you pass ancient columns, temples, and public squares. Pause at the magnificent Library of Celsus, a symbol of ancient knowledge and architectural brilliance, with its ornate façade still standing proudly after nearly 2,000 years.

Continue to the Great Theatre, a colossal amphitheater that once held over 25,000 spectators. Imagine the roar of ancient crowds during dramatic performances and political gatherings. This is where St. Paul once preached, and where the scale and acoustics still leave a lasting impression.

Ephesus was more than a city—it was a thriving center of commerce, culture, and early Christianity, and its ruins offer a vivid glimpse into the daily life of its citizens.

On your return to the port, guests may choose to join an optional visit to a traditional carpet-weaving demonstration in Kuşadası, where skilled artisans showcase the intricate techniques behind Turkey’s world-renowned carpets. Guests who prefer to explore the town independently may do so, but must return to the ship on foot, passing through the port’s security checkpoint, as vehicles are not permitted inside the terminal area after tours.

Physical Requirements: Tour involves moderate to strenuous walking over uneven terrain; stairs may be involved.
Footwear & Weather: Wear comfortable, non-slip walking shoes. Bring sunscreen and dress appropriately.
Port Access: Vehicles cannot enter the port’s parking lot after the tour. All guests must walk approximately 800 meters through the security checkpoint to return to the ship.
Cancellations must be made at least 5 days before the tour. Late cancellations may incur charges.
